GROSVENOR PLACE

Grosvenor Place is a row of beautiful Georgian town houses in Bath. We were tasked to find a way to extend a sub basement level flat, to both add floorspace and bring light into the property. As the buildings are Grade One listed, we were required to navigate an unusually high number of parameters to achieve the clients’ brief. In the end we elected to put forward a fully glazed structure to give the lightest of touches to the proposal. We then restored and revived the natural stone of the exterior to let the beauty of the material speak for itself.
