Thomas Burnford

Director

Thomas graduated from the Architectural Association in 2010, with RIBA Part II exemption and additional training in Urban Design. As part of his studies he also attended RMIT University in Melbourne Australia, where he carried out an additional semester's work on sustainability in architecture.

Thomas enjoys working with existing buildings and restoring historic fabric just as much as building new and contemporary structures. He concentrates on designing interesting, subtle juxtapositions between any original structures and new developments. Landscaping and the public realm also play an important part in his designs.

Kornelija Chilinskaite

Senior Designer Part 2

Following a successful Part I work placement with Burnford Architecture, Kornelija then joined the team in a full-time capacity having demonstrated excellent end-to-end design skills.

She has previously worked closely alongside engineers which has helped her develop a thorough understanding of the interplay between architecture and structure during the design process. This has led to an enhanced collaboration between Burnford Architecture and the clients.
